for children. This committee makes reports and suggestions to Mrs. Hight, who makes the final decision on books to be purchased.A Library Club has been organized by Mrs. Hight. It is national and is called 'the Library Club of America' Brief book reports of about 20 words for each book read are the only requirements for membership.
It was recommended by the board that Mr. Paul Baldwin, City Council member on the board be asked to approach the city council on the matter of two weeks vacation with pay for the librarian and her assistant.
It was moved by Mrs. Hoch and seconded by Mrs. McCloskey that Mrs. Hight's expenses be paid for the workshop she will attend the week of July 3rd through July 27th, 1957 at Higgins Lake, Mich.
