Howell, Mich. Nov. 3, 1949

A meeting of the library board was called to order at 7:30PM Present: Theodore Krieger, chairman, Mrs. H.L. Williams and Leslie B. Merritt, members.

Minutes of the meeting of May 19 were read and approved. The financial report for the period since the last board meeting was read and discussed.

The city auditor's report on the library fund was examined and discussed. Future needs to the building in the matter of roof insulation and repair of floors were considered informally.

A letter dated January 10, 1941 from the city clerk addressed to the library board was read. This was in reference to an agreement between the City of Howell and the Howell Women's Club in regard to the basement club room. Meeting adjourned at 8:30PM Leslie B. Merritt, Secretary
