Meeting Minutes (Continued): ...annual report of the library to explain with the years, the expense of building maintenance increases and the fund for purchase of books correspondingly decreases and to request financial appropriations in addition to the regular 1/2 mill tax
. A coat of paint for the roof was discussed but it was decided to leave the matter until next year

Meeting Minutes: The Library Commission held a regular meeting at the Carnegie Library on the evening of Wednesday Sept. 18th, all three members being present
. Mr. Miller Baumann being invited to attend, an inspection of the rubber matting in the lobby preceded the business session and after a discussion, Mr. Baumann offered to recement the rubber and to see that same remains fastened to the floor
. This being the best solution of the problem the floor covering was accepted by the Commission
.
The meeting was called to order by the president Dr. Noble
. The Secretary's report of the last meeting was read and approved as read
. Motion was made that the Library Commission meet regularly on the Fri. evening preceding the 4th Mon. of the month for the presentation and endorsement of all bills with the exception of telephone, lights, water and salaries for which vouchers may be made without presentation to the board
. Carried
. Motion made and carried that Baumann bill for rubber matting amounting to $34.17 be paid
