The Library Board met at the Library August 24th
. Present: M. J. McPherson, C. E. Jewett, L. E. Howlett, H. A. McPherson, and A. Garland
. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved
.
Moved and supported that the action to accept the Shafer bid (accepted at last meeting) be reconsidered. (Carried)
.
Discussion ensued in regard to the payment of the cost of the curbing (St. Shafer bid) on the North West and East side of the Library grounds
.
Moved and supported that the Library Board meet with The Village Council in regard to the Village paying one half of the expense incurred by curbing on the North, West and East side of the Library grounds (Carried)
.
The following July salaries and expenses were allowed:
