May 7
Library Board met at the office of Thos. Gordon Jr. All present. Geo.Chapel & M.J. McPherson were appointed when cement walk built in front of Lib.
Building. Gordon & Barnes were appointed to procure shades.
W.H.S. Wood appointed to get 1000 labels printed.
Thos Gordon Jr. Authorized to have the name Knehrile erased as builder & Meyers as architect. W.H.S. Wood voted against the removal of Meyers
name.
Bill of W.H.S. Wood for labor & postage allowed (for drayage?) $5.00

Library Board met at the office of Thos. Gordon Jr. Present M.J. McPherson, R.B. McPherson, wood, Chapel, Gordon & Barnes.
Thos. Gordon was authorized to have building jointed up not to exceed $150.00.
Barnes authorized to have cut of Library Building made. Thos Gordon Jr. authorized to purchase 100 ft of hose & hose cart.

The following bills allowed:
Asa Parshall 44 trees planing @ 35 cents $15.40
less labor 1.00
Total 16.40

Resolution was passed declining to let Howell Woman's Club have the use of room in Library.
