We the undersigned deems to present to the Howell Carnegie Library, in memory of our mother, Mrs. Jennie Ranney McPherson, books to be
selected by ourselves to the value of Five Hundred Dollars.

was appointed to see Council in regard to janitor.

Library Board met.
Present M.J. McPherson, R.B. McPherson, Gordon, Chapel, Wood & Barnes. On the 5th ballot Miss Lucy Chapel was elected Librarian.
Salary $240.00 for 12 mo to commence July 15th, 1906.
