July 27, 1906
Library Board met. The following were present. M.J. McPherson, Chapel, Wood & Barnes.
The following bills were allowed.

Board met at the Library for the first time. All present.
Vote that the Library be known as the Howell Carnegie Library. Vote by yeas & nays.
Yeas: M.J. McPherson, Chapel, Bruce McPherson, Gordon & Barnes.
Nays: W.H.S. Wood

motion carried.

W.H.S. Wood directed to select a lawnmower. B.B. Wines to get express from time ? & ?.

A resolution was duly passed authorizing the township board to make an assessment of one mill on the dollar on the assessed valuation of Howell Township.
