Dear Mr Wood:-
I enclose some correspondence from the Commissioner of Patents. I feared that they would not vary from what seems to me a very rigid rule in these matters.
You will notice that the Gazette goes to the Ladies LIbrary at Howell and as doubtless all your libraries will be tranferred to the Carnegie Library,
you will get the advantage of it for the present, and when the new list is made up, I shall be glad to make the change.
