Received of the Township Board of Howell Three Hundred Dollars being check #5 A.G. Hudhnle
July 10, 03 8.30P.M. The Library Board met at the office of Mr. Thos. Gordan Jr.
Present: Adams, Brooks, Gordan, McPherson, VanWinkle, Wood
General discussion as to the events of the day, duty to the public, desirability of action, manner of procedure, sufficiency of previous disclaimer,
and Propriety of inaction or silence.
As in April Mr. Wood again suggested securing a room, purchasing books, adopting rules, getting a librarian to catalogue, index & C and giving to the people an early
benefit from tax already collected.
Also the authentication of bills of Twp. Howell, Mr. Kuehnle, Crittenden, Allen, & C & presenting them to the Supervisor and Clerk for orders upon the
Twp Treasurer.
No action. Adjourned.

Adams. C.S. Adams was elected secy pro Tem.
Moved by VanWinkle that we make an estimate of one thousand dollars as necessary to maintain the Library for the coming years. Seconded
by Mr. Brooke, Carried. Adjourned
