It was reported Mrs. Lannen, the assistant librarians was ill and could not return to duty until next spring if at all. It was agreed to continue hiring Mrs. Chas. Reed as an additional clerk for four or five afternoons a week pending a further report on Mrs. Lannen. It was also agreed June Randalls a 10th grade student, might be hired at 35 cents an hour. She has been giving some time to earn a Girl Scout badge. The librarian was instructed to do the best she could in securing temporary help while keeping within budget limitations.
