The Library Board met at the Library June 10, 1918.
Members present — M. J. McPherson, A. Garland and E. L. Avery.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The following bills were allowed:
Wilcox + Peavy — 4 1/2 cord wood: $16.87
John Hilderbrant — Elect. repair: 5.40
Jones Bros. — Coal: 44.95
Geo Wahr — Books: 7.29
Bd. of Public Works — Elect current for May: 4.34
Mich. St. Tel. Co. — Service: 2.00
A. F. Peavy + Son — Coal: 29.16
Motion to elect officers for the ensuing year. Members proceeded to vote by ballot for President. Result of ballot — M. J. McPherson was elected.
A. Garland was elected Secy. and Dr. E. L. Avery was elected Treasurer for the coming year.
Moved and supported that the books requested as per list be purchased.
The resignation of Miss Alice Bennett was accepted by the Board in accordance with her wish to retire.
It was moved and seconded that the complete report (of the Librarian) be accepted. Carried.
