Gentlemen, - Mr. A. G. Kuehnle, contractor of Library Building has submitted the following estimate of materials delivered on the library grounds, copies
of said bills are hereto connected.
Cement delivered on grounds 750.00
Balance due on former estimate 504.00
Balance due on excavating 72.00
Block stone delivered 363.00
Connecting water supply to building 68.50
Labor on concrete work 111.35
50,000 brick 220.00
Labor on stone foundation work 92.00
Balance due on 21 window frames 105.00
Panel work connected with windowns 2285.85
Per cent deducted 342.75
1943.10
The above material and work is now on the Library building grounds and is all in accordance with the terms of my contract; less fifteen (15) per cent to be deducted,
leaving amount to be paid $1943.10
All of which I do certify is in accordance with the terms of my contract and is true and correct, and the said material and work is thereby turned over
to your committee on account of moneys advanced. Thereon committee not to be responsible on account of any lose by fire or otherwise, being understood
that of the above sum due that only one thousand dollars is not to be paid, the balance thereof on or before the first day of June, 1903

Gentlemen,- The several materials and work are now on the Library grounds, bills of lading ? for all said materials I have examined and find
that the material and work is in accordance with that required by the plans and specifications, and do recommend that the sum of ($2285.85)
two thousand two hundred eighty-five dollars and eighty-five cents is due and payable in the manner previously hereinbefore stated

We have the honor herewith to present to you the Certificate of Col. E.E. Myers, Architect for the Carnegie Library Building at Howell, Michigan
certifying over $2000.00 more of work and material has been furnished by the contractor and done thereon and whereby request that the
second ? all ? of $2000.00 be re? therefor to the Township Board of Howell Mich. m? payable to the Township Board of Howell or order pursuant to your letters of Aug.
4th 02 and Aug. 11th 1902.
