    These are photographs of trophies won by a Morgan Horse Farm, in 1968.  The trophies in the third picture report Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Voss, 3675 East Grand River Avenue,  Howell Michigan were winners.

    A photo most likely taken by Bob Itsell of the Itsell farm in 1966. At on point, the farm covered roughly 160 acres, but at the time of the photo, parts of it had been sold.

    Photograph 0027 was of the Blue Ribbon Team at the Livingston County Fair, Howell, Michigan, 1915, and in the 1992, "Howell Bicentennial History and Photographic Supplement", p. 62, it was captioned, Mr. Elijah B Hosley, 1917.

    Photograph 0032 is of a steam traction engine traveling a public roadway.  It is a 19 horse power Port Huron.  The automobiles in the picture indicate the photograph was taken in the 1950 - 1960's.

    This is a photograph of grain threshing using a steam traction engine, and grain separator.  There is also a horse and wagon team in the picture.

  • Fairlawn Farm, Howell, Michigan

    These photographs are of the Fairlawn Farm, also known as the Reed and Knowles Stock farm.  They bred and raised Holstein cattle in the early 1900's.  The farm was located in Howell and Osceola Townships, Livingston, Michigan, at the north end of Thompson Lake.
