A regular meeting of the Library Board was held April 24, 1922. M. J. McPherson and Mrs. W. C. Huntington present.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
A resolution on the deaths of A. Garland and Dr. Avery prepared by Mrs. Huntington were read and approved by Mr. McPherson. The president requested that the memorial be inserted in the records.

Howell, Mich., May 1, 1922.
A special meeting of the Library Board was called May 1st 1922. Members present: Mrs. W. C. Huntington, Mr. M. J. McPherson and Mr. Frank J. Shields.
Mrs. Huntington was elected secretary. Mr. Frank J. Shields was elected treasurer.
Moved by Mr. Shields that librarians' annual report be accepted and placed on file. Carried.
Moved by Mr. Shields that Assistant's (Miss Esther Yerkes) salary be increased five dollars ($5.00) per month. Carried.
Motion to adjourn. Carried.
