Board met at Library. Present: M.J. McPHerson, L.S. Brookes, Geo Barnes, Geo.H Chapel, R.B. McPherson, and A.D. Thompson.
After due consideration, the following bills were allowed.

A.J. Brown Janitor salary 1/2 village, 1/2 township $17.50
Lucy Chapel, Librarian 30.00
Bennett Hardware Co. 12.25

Book Shop Bindery (Chicago) 105.40

Moved, supported and carried that we send Librarian of Congess $10.00 to check out.
Book Committee presented list of books for consideration and after due consideration, Book Com was ordered to purchase them.
Moved, supported and carried that Geo. Barnes be authorized to purchase coal for use in Library.
Moved, supported and carried that L.S. Brooke and M.J. McPherson be a committee to see about fixing mens room in the basement and make estimate of cost.

Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
After due consideration, the following bills were allowed.
A.J. Brown, Janitor, salary for Sept 1/2 vill, 1/2 township $17.50
Lucy Chapel, salary for Sept $35.00 bal on July 5.00 40.00
J.O. Taft 5 tons coal @ 6.50 per ton 32.50

Moved, supported and carried that application of Myotte H. Wilkinson for appreenticeship in Library be placed on file for future reference.
R.B. McPherson was elected as chairman of Committee to fix mens room in basement, in place of M.J. McPherson who resigned.
Moved, supported, and carried that Lucy Chapel be retained for another year at Library salary to be $35.00 per month from
August 1st, A.D. 1909.
