Description

This is a photograph of a float honoring Kinsley S. Bingham, of Brighton, Michigan.  Kinsley S. Bingham was our first governor from the county of Livingston, Michigan.

Bingham was elected Governor of Michigan in 1855 and 1857, then was elected United States Senator from Michigan in 1859.  He died in 1861.

The person on the float, location of the parade, and date of the event are unknown.
