After due consideration the following bills were allowed.

On motion M.J. McPherson was appointed committee to look up the matter of hiring Librarian with full power to act and salary not to exceed $30.00
per month and report at next meeting.

On motion ballot was taken for Librarian as follows. Ethel Dean, 1 Loretta Porter, 2 Myrtle Wilkinson, 3 being no choice another ballot was taken with the following
result: Loretta Porter, 2 Myrtle Wilkinson, 4 On motion of R.B. McPherson the vote was declared unanimous and Mrs. Wilkinson declared
elected Librarian.
President instructed to see Mrs. Wilkinson and inform her of the action of the board and arrange to hire her for six months at $30.00 per month commencing February
14th, 1910. AS a further consideration, she should attend the summer training school for Librarian if she desire to continue as Librarian.

On Motion committee was instructed to have the room lathed and plastered. On Motion committee on grounds & Buildings was ordered to see about lighting front entrance to Library. Book Committee reported that the Estate of Julia R. Wells presented volumes of books to the Carnegie Library and on Motion they were duly accepted with thanks to the donors.
