    These photographs are of the Fairlawn Farm, also known as the Reed and Knowles Stock farm.  They bred and raised Holstein cattle in the early 1900's.  The farm was located in Howell and Osceola Townships, Livingston, Michigan, at the north end of Thompson Lake.

    Photograph 0032 is of a steam traction engine traveling a public roadway.  It is a 19 horse power Port Huron.  The automobiles in the picture indicate the photograph was taken in the 1950 - 1960's.
