These photographs are of the McPherson Browning home, which was later the Alex McPherson home, 1910. The address was 925 West Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan, and later became the site of the Paul Bennett Recreation Center.

This photo was taken in 1918 on the porch at the McPherson mansion. Most likely taken by Emil Bode on the same day as several other pictures of the family. R. Bruce Mcpherson was a businessman prominent in Howell Michigan. The mansion was built in 1915, three years before the photo was taken.
