The Millpond was home to a flock of wild ducks. Town Hall, center, was built in 1879. twelve years after the village was incorporated. Originally, the lower level was the fire department, while the village government business was conducted on the 2nd floor. In 1966, the beautiful little structure became the City Library and was assured it's continued preservation.
