Meeting Minutes: A motion carried that a loan be made, and Mrs. Van Slyke was instructed to inform the Ann Arbor Committee
A second communication was read stating that House Bill 635 regarding state aid for libraries included a clause withdrawing such appropriations
A motion was made for Dr. Noble to write to Hon. Harry Little, State Senator from the district, and Mr. Charles Adams, Representative from Livingston County, requesting that they add a clause or amendment restoring or continuing these appropriations
Upon request, Mrs. Van Slyke informed the Board concerning the money received from the State
Three installments of $67.78 each had been received since the previous February and deposited in the McPherson State Bank

A motion carried for Dr. Noble to purchase a lawn mower and paint for the fountain
A further motion carried that all books hereafter be purchased from the general library fund with vouchers, rather than from the rental and fine fund, so that book expenditures would be a matter of record in these pages
Following a discussion regarding a committee for the purchase of books, no action was taken
The meeting adjourned
