    Moved by Dr. Avery, seconded by A. Garland that the application of Esther Yerkes for Assistant Librarian be accepted at a salary of $45 per mo. Carried.
    Moved by Dr. Avery that the use of books from the library be prohibited in families known to be afflicted with tuberculosis.
    Moved by Dr. Avery and seconded, that list of books submitted by librarian be purchased. Carried.

    Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
    The lists of new books submitted by M. J. McPherson were to be ordered by the librarian.
    The matter of making our reference books viz: Century Dictionary and the International Encyclopedias, up to date was discussed. Two new Century books are to be purchased at $2.50 per volume as per letter.
    A letter asking for best terms was dictated by Mr. McPherson to be sent to the International Encyclopaedia Co., New York.
