Jeanette Brigham

Dr. Jeanette Brigham was the first female doctor in Livingston County, Michigan. Brigham graduated from University of Michigan in 1900, which she paid for by waiting tables. "At a time when nearly all women were at home tending their babies, Jeanette Brigham was roaming the county in her horse and buggy helping to deliver them" ₁.

In 1894, Brigham graduated from Howell High School in Howell, Michigan ₂.
