
Nellie Lansing Glenn
Nellie Lansing Glenn was a local historian for Livingston County, Michigan. Known as the "Matriarch of Livingston County", Glenn spent much of her time giving back to the community. Glenn worked at Michigan State Sanatorium when it opened in 1907, where she was secretary and receptionist. There she met her husband, Dr. Bernard H. Glenn, whom she married in 1910 and moved to Fowlerville, Michigan where she helped establish the library 1. Glenn was one of the founding board members there in 1937 2.
Glenn was also an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Livingston County History Society.
