    These pictures feature the new Greenwich Village Apartments, which were developed by James Carell, Gerald Harmon and Don Hinkleman, and Howell Realty for Senior Citizen living.  The complex was on Riddle Street just north of  Byron Road, Howell, Michigan.  They opened in 1975 and featured 68 one bedroom apartments with complete kitchen appliances, carpeting, drapes, air conditioning, and patios.  Monthly rent in 1975 started at $150/month.

    Located at the former site of Michigan Avenue Middle School. 

    The post office opened in March of 1986, replacing the post office that had been located on Walnut street.
