These are photographs of Ephraim Wilson Hardy, born 2/20/1848 and died in 1928. He was born and died on the Hardy Family Farm in Osceola Township, Livingston County, Michigan. Ephraim was the father of Royal Crittenden Hardy.
This is two pictures of the Hardy Farm which was established by Ephraim Jennings Hardy, who later jointly owned it with his son, Ephraim Wilson Hardy. He was the sole owner at the time of these photographs, around 1920. They raised Shetland ponies and Holstein cattle with other livestock. The location was Sections 23 and 20 in Osceola Township.
This photograph was labeled, "Grandpa Hardy, Charlotte Alta Crittenden Hardy, Tom Crittenden, middle row, Grandma Crittenden and Unknown, two ladies from Vermont. The date and location are unknown.
