Henry Dudley Grieve (1838-1915) was the only son of James and Harriet Grieve. He married Phoebe Hemingway (1839-1927). They lived most of their lives as farmers in Unadilla Township, Michigan.
Henry built or modified existing aerobatic aircraft which he used to compete nationally and internationally. At least one was named “Ratsrepus” which is Superstar spelled backwards.
This is a portrait of Henry T. Ross, Brighton, Michigan, who was a Michigan State Legislator from Livingston County. Mr. Ross was also on the Livingston County Board of Supervisors in 1912.
